Riddle & Cockrell produced most of their textile products for small gift & accessory shops across the US. Every day we got paid to draw pictures using reference photos sent from all over America. It was like traveling around the country, but without ever having to leave your chair. Using Photoshop, we worked in a highly pixelated, low-resolution style. On-screen, the lines all looked rough and jagged, but in the end, the final woven pieces always had a smooth and soft appearance.
Soon after becoming a digital illustrator, I bought my first Mac computer and began creating my own artwork. A short time later, I discovered Adobe Illustrator and the world of vector drawing.
